Out of curiosity, I checked out M&M's website to determine whether there was a claim about the color distribution of individual candy bags. According to the website, each package of Milk Chocolate M&M's should contain 24% blue, 14% brown, 16% green, 20% orange, 13% red, and 13% yellow M&M's. After buying a bag of M&M's and counting individual colors, I came up with the results presented below. At a 5% significance level, test the company's claim.
Colors Frequency
Blue 12
Brown 9
Green 8
Orange 9
Red 7
Yellow 10
