Part A. Address Questions below dealing with solar angles and the sun's position (show sketches always!)
1. Sketch earth (a circle) and draw a horizontal line (equator) and vertical line (axis of rotation), Now show
solar rays coming horizontally from the left. This is the Equinox (Sept 21). Mark the 30.5 degree latitude
(CS, TX) where you are with a stick figure--you--standing on the earth's surface with a vector coming out
of your head. Check to see if the angle between this vector and horizontal solar rays are 30.5--your latitude.
