we need to do the following problems. So we're first going to do the first seven and then move the paper up. So the product means we're going to multiply two thirds and one half. That means we multiply straight across, That's 2/6, which reduces to one third. So that's answer choice B. And then we have five times 1 3rd. So this is really over one. So this becomes 5/3 which is one and two thirds as a mixed number. So that's letter D. And number three. We have four fists times one half, So that becomes 4/10. So that's B. Because I just said to multiply the numerator and the denominator didn't say to reduce. Then what's the simplest form of 3/9? This is 1/3, then we're gonna multiply two times two fists. So that's really 2/1. So that's four fists. So that's letter A. And we have three times 1/4, so that's 3/1. So that becomes 3/4 0. That's the letter B. And then seven We have 26 times 4/5. So that's 8/30. And if we divide by two and reduce it, That's 4 15th. If we don't reduce the carrot all the way then letter D. It depends if you're reducing it completely or not. So let's go ahead and pause. We're gonna continue with number eight. Number eight says find the product of the equation. So that's 2/4 times 3/5. So that's 6/20. So just had to find the product. So let's let her see. Five Becomes 5/1 is a fraction, so that's letter a. And then we have 6/20 and we need to find that in simplest forms, we're going to divide a two out, So that's 3/10, so that's the letter B.

Absolute Value - Example 1

In mathematics, the absolute value or modulus |x| of a real number x is its numerical value without regard to its sign. The absolute value of a number may be thought of as its distance from zero along a number line; this interpretation is analogous to the distance function assigned to a real number in the real number system. For example, the absolute value of ?4 is 4, and the absolute value of 4 is 4, both without regard to sign.
