Post Lab Task: Design of a BJT Biasing Circuit (Amplifier)
With the help of the attached transistor datasheet (2N2222), determine the values of RC, RE, R1, and R2 so that the transistor in Fig. 6 operates in the active region with IC = 5mA (Use Approximate Analysis method).
Simulate your circuit and measure VCE, IC, and VC. Compare the values in (2) with your design values. Comment on the results.
Assumptions: Vce = ½ Vcc, Hfe = 60 as per the datasheet. For stability, select Ve = 1/10 of Vcc or a little higher.
Implement this circuit in your Multisim and take screenshots with the voltages and current values.
