PRELABORATORY QUESTIONS
1) 6.0 M NaOH is available in the laboratory. Calculate the amount of this reagent you will need in order to prepare 1.0 liter of 0.10 M NaOH.
2) Calculate the grams of oxalic acid dihydrate (126.07 g/mol) needed to neutralize about 35 mL of approximately 0.10M NaOH. HINT. Write the balance equation first between NaOH and H2C2O4. Use the above established path but in reverse starting with volume and molarity of NaOH to find moles of NaOH and then ultimately grams of oxalic acid.
