a) Draw the free body diagram for the beam AC.
b) Write down the geometric boundary conditions at the supports B and C.
c) Using the integration method, determine the reactions at the supports, and also the deflection function v(x) for the beam. Express your answers in terms of P, L, E, and I. Make a hand-drawn, scaled plot for the deflection function, and mark the displacements for points A, B, and C on the plot.
