States are allowed to make individual laws with their own state in mind, which is best for the country: Politicians are not county: States are able to experiment and test out innovative laws on a small scale before the national government tries them out on the country.
Political leaders will be term limited which is ideal for democracy. There are no arguments in support of federalism; it's generally thought to be a terrible idea.
