Why would the answer be the production of super weeds when my notes say that it has nothing to do with genetically modification. " Eventually the weeds do develop a resistance to Roundup. This is not a surprise. In fact, this was well-known to scientists at the time that Roundup Ready products were introduced. This has nothing to do with genetic modification, it has to do with biology. Eventually resistance will develop, whether you're talking about insects, whether you're talking about weeds. Why is that? Because no amount of technology can guarantee that all weeds will be killed or that all insects will be killed. "
