Wilton was an investigative reporter for his college newspaper. He took pride in ensuring that his sources felt comfortable and confident in trusting his investigations. When one of Wilton's sources accused a professor of misconduct, the college dean asked Wilton to name the student who reported the issue or face the school's board of directors. Wilton refused and was now facing potential disciplinary issues. Wilton is operating at the level of moral reasoning.
