Find the equivalent resistance of the following configuration. Simplify your result.
Madhur L.
Simplify this circuit and identify the limiting factors. 20 kΩ 5 V 50 kΩ 1 kΩ 4 kΩ 10 kΩ 4 V 8 V Figure 1 - Circuit you are asked to simplify. Describe what steps you took to simplify the circuit. If you were unable to simplify, leave this blank. Using Kirchhoff's Voltage Loop and Current Laws, determine the current that should flow through the 50 kΩ resistor and also the voltage drop across it. Upload a diagram of your simplified circuit including component values. NOTE: Your final circuit should contain two voltage sources, voltage sources in parallel should not be simplified. Hint: You are limited by what equipment is available to you: Resistors (all with units of Ω): 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1 k, 2 k, 4 k, 5 k, 10 k, 15 k, 20 k, 30 k, 50 k, 100 k, 1 M Power supply with three voltage sources (0-30 V variable, 12 V fixed, 5 V fixed)
