How has the contribution of social psychology to OB been different from the contribution of anthropology? Social psychology is the same field of study as anthropology. Social psychology focuses exclusively on individuals and how the behavior changes when the individual is placed in a group. Social psychology combines concepts of psychology and sociology to study how members of a group or organization can influence one another.
