00:26 What i want to do on the left side is combine like terms.
00:29 That means i'm going to combine those two 1x's.

00:38 And then i'm going to combine the positive 5 and the negative 5.
00:42 In other words, that is 0.
00:47 So i don't really need to write that, but i'm just going to write it to show that positive 5 and negative 5 equals 0.
00:52 Alright, that is going to be equal to 1x plus 10.
00:59 Alright, so i want to get all of the x's on the same side.
01:02 So i need to subtract 1x from each side.
01:09 That's the same as adding a negative 1x...
