population variance was 36, calculate the 95% confidence interval for the
mean glucose level. Also calculate 99% confidence interval for the mean
and compare with the 95% confidence interval.
2. Profit in 9 days in a shop are given below. 5, 8, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 3, 4.
Estimate the population mean and the standard error of the mean.
Calculate 90% and 99% confidence interval for the mean profit.
3. Twenty patients out of 100 had hypertension. Estimate the population
proportion of hypertension and calculate 95% confidence interval for the
population proportion.

the 95% confidence interval for the population variance.
