Students are expected to write a book report on our required text (Shiva, V. (2016). Living Economies. Earth Democracy: Justice, Sustainability, and Peace. Cambridge: South End Press.) that includes:
1. Summaries of each chapter's main concepts.
2. A critical analysis of the author's points related to the students' experiences and personal reflections.
3. Give one conceptual example for each chapter and discuss similarities or differences when this concept is applied to Northern Ontario.
4. Give one example for each chapter of other CESD1006 concepts that are relevant in that chapter, clearly detailing why they are relevant.
