Suppose that you arrive at a single-teller bank to find five other customers in the bank, one being served and the other four waiting in line. You join the end of the line. If the service times are all exponential with rate $\mu$, what is the expected amount of time you will spend in the bank?

'(5 points) Suppose that you arrive at a barbershop and find one person getting a haircut and another 3 waiting in line. You join the end of the line: If the service times are all exponential with rate /, what is the expected amount of time You will spend at the barbershop assume you will leave the barbershop as soon aS YOU get your haircut!)'

When you enter the bank, you find that there are only two tellers, both busy serving other customers, and that there are no other customers in queue. Assume that the service times for you and for each of the customers being served are independent identically distributed exponential random variables, with parameter λ=1. What is the expected time from your arrival until you and the other two customers are all finished being served?
