Texts: 1. Researcher Robert Sapolsky’s mission to study the impacts of stress involved sampling the blood of animals in Africa. The two main stress hormones he talks about are cortisol, or also known as the "stress hormone", and adrenaline, which come from the adrenal glands. One of his earlier studies linked baboon’s stress and their places in the social hierarchy. The conclusion was that the rank determined its level of stress in its body. A dominant male baboon would have lower stress levels. The lower ranked baboon had higher blood pressure and heart rates.
