4) A permanent-magnet DC motor has the following specifications:
Motor Armature Supply Voltage (Vm) = V = 15 V
Motor Armature Resistance (RA) = 6
Motor Armature Current (l) = 200 mA
Motor Speed (Nm) = 9000 rpm
Find the motor back emf proportionality constant (Kb') of the motor.
5) The armature voltage supplied to the motor of the previous problem is now Vm = VA = 9 V and the motor armature current is now lA = 500 mA (with mechanical load). Find the speed (Nm) of the motor operating with the new given conditions (and use the values of R and Kb from problem 4 along with the new conditions given in this problem 5 in your calculations). Hint: Your answer for the speed should be less than the speed of problem 4.
6) A permanent-magnet DC motor has the following specifications:
Motor Armature Supply Voltage (VM) = VA = 12 V
Motor Armature Resistance (R) = 9
Motor Armature Current (lA) = 300 mA
Motor back emf proportionality constant (Kb') = 800 x 10^(-6) V/rpm
Find the speed (Nm) of the motor.
7) A permanent-magnet DC motor has the following specifications:
Motor Armature Supply Voltage (VM) = VA = 18 V
Motor Armature Resistance (RA) = 14
Motor back emf proportionality constant (Kb') = 1.2 x 10^(-3) V/rpm
Motor Speed (Nm) = 7000 rpm
Find the motor armature current (IA) through the motor armature.
