This problem asks if the air pressure at a particular place in the mountains is 0 .8 atmospheres, estimate the temperature at which water boils.

So we're going to use table 3 for this because we know that water boils when the atmospheric pressure is equal to the vapor pressure of a liquid, right? so at 0 .8 atmospheres, if you convert that to pascals, you get 8 .1 times 10 to the 4th pascales, which is what we have in the table.

And as you can see, there isn't actually a value that matches this 8 .1 times 10 of the 4 pascal.
