EXPLAIN EACH: Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions Theory is a framework for understanding cultural differences across countries. It identifies six dimensions that describe a society's culture: Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions: Power Distance: Measures the extent to which less powerful members of a society accept and expect power to be distributed unequally. Individualism vs. Collectivism: Assesses whether people prefer to act as individuals or as part of groups. Masculinity vs. Femininity: Looks at the distribution of roles between genders and the value placed on competitiveness vs. care. Uncertainty Avoidance: Indicates how comfortable a culture is with uncertainty and ambiguity. Long-term vs. Short-term Orientation: Reflects a culture's focus on future rewards versus past and present. Indulgence vs. Restraint: Measures the degree of freedom in fulfilling human desires.
