The Jason Madison a patient with COPD, a lung condition known for CO2 retention. He is currently on BiPAP with the following settings: IPAP 15 EPAP 5 FiO2 60% Based on recent arterial blood gas results (ABG) pH 7.39 PaCO2 60 HCO3 32 and PaO2 68.
a) What would you do to adjust his current settings? Make sure you don't over oxygenate him or it could affect his respiratory drive.
