The Learning Journal is a space where you should reflect on what was learned during the week and how it applies to your daily life and will help you with your life (career) goals. For this week's reflection, explain how financial statements (Income Statement, Statement of Owner's Equity, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows) are helpful to the business owner, employees, and investors using a company in your local area. Be sure to begin by stating the name of the company you chose. Be sure that your Learning Journal entry is a minimum of 500 words. Make sure you cite and reference your sources of information in the APA format.

The declaration, record, and payment dates in connection with a cash dividend of $115,900 on the corporation's common stock are January 12, March 13, and April 12. Required: Journalize the entries required on each date. If no entry is required, simply skip to the next transaction. Refer to the chart of accounts for the exact wording of the account titles. CNOW journals do not use lines for journal explanations. Every line on a journal page is used for debit or credit entries. CNOW journals will automatically indent a credit entry when the credit amount is entered.
