This is a therapy device that simply opens the mouth. The white pads from the device push out the teeth in order to open the mouth. I need to create free body diagrams (FBD) for each critical component so I can work with a stress analysis that may apply here (shear, tension, compression, bending, etc.).
What do you consider are the critical components to make a stress analysis and what kind of analysis is applicable or more relevant here?
Please use FBD with your explanation. Note that this is a more theoretical analysis, but if you want to assume numbers to explain, those are welcome.
