This is the grading model (formula) of the given course:
(((Q1+Q2+Q3+Q4+Q5+Q6+Q7+Q8)/80)*20) + (((P1+P2+P3+P4+P5)/SO)*30) + ((MT/100)*25) + ((FT/100)*25) - FINAL GRADE
Where:
Q = Quizzes
P = Projects
MT = Midterm
FT = Final test
However, during the course, the professor introduced the following changes:
PS became an optional project: If a student did not solve it, it will not affect his grade. And if a student solves it, the grade in this project will become extra points for the project component of the final grade. The professor granted extra points over the final test grade for outstanding solutions to course assignments. Note: These extra points will be added to the final test (FT) grade (not the grade of the course).
Update the grading model (formula) to calculate the final grade of the course considering these two changes.
