Think about overall Error Management Theory (EMT) for a few minutes. Now put your focus on sexual overperception bias. Have you ever been on the receiving end of this, and be aware that it is NOT ONLY MALES who make this misperception. In the interest of not putting your private life on display, think about when someone you know was the recipient of this often unwanted attention. How did your friend or colleague handle the situation? Do you think you would have handled the situation differently than your friend or colleague?
