If it's got carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, and those are really the only elements that are in it, there's a good chance.

You know, lipid would be the fatty, you know, type organic molecules.

And the lipids also are made up of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen as the primary elements.

A few other things about carbs and lipids, you know, many times with, you know, carbohydrates, you may see ring type structures, so that's something you can look for.

And, you know, as far as the names of some main carbs, you'd see things like glucose, sucrose, then the more complex polysaccharides like starch and cellulose and so forth.

With lipids, you know, many of them follow the format of what's called a triglyceride, where they would have a glycerol backbone, and then coming from that, they would have fatty acids, and namely three fatty acids, because it's called a triclyceride.

So again, the glycerol would be the backbone, and then from that, you know, you would have your three fatty acids attached to it.
