The first thing is going to be what are the x -intercepts of this graph.

Now when we are referring to the x -intercept of a graph, we are referring to where the graph crosses the x -axis.

So if i draw myself an example graph there, the x -intercepts are located here and here because that's where my graph is going through the x -axis versus the y -axis.

Now if you look at the graph that was given, you can see that there are two dots already drawn where the graph is crossing the x -axis.

So we can use those to easily identify our two intercepts.

Now the first one, the one that's on the left, i can see we moved from the center, left two units, which means we went to negative two, and we didn't go up or down at all.
