In this video, i'm going to be looking at data from an experiment on projectile motion.
00:06
Okay, so we're given a list of x and y position versus time for a projectile motion.
00:13
Okay, so the flight path of a projectile.
00:16
What we're going to do is plot the x position versus time data, and from that we're going to find the initial launch angle of this projectile.
00:25
Okay.
00:26
And then we're going to plot the y position versus time, and we're going to plot the y position versus time, to fit a curve to that knowing what we know about projectile motion.
00:34
Okay, so let's look at our x data first.
00:38
Okay, so our data looks like this here.
00:41
So we have time on the left.
00:44
So time is in the left column.
00:46
My ex position is in the right column.
00:48
My time is in seconds.
00:51
My ex position is in meters.
00:54
So i graph this data and this is what my graph looks like.
00:57
And you may have used different software.
00:59
So your graph may look slightly different, but this is what i got.
01:03
Okay, so we have time on the x -axis...
