00:01 So i'm going to multiply my top and bottom by root 3 plus 1, because then by using difference of squares, the middle terms will cancel out, and i will have any radicals in the denominator.
00:11 So if you look, root 3 times root 3 is 9, and then i've got plus root 3 minus root 3, minus 1, when i foil it out.
00:19 And you can see that this root 3 and this root 3 cancel out, leaving me with just 8 ends in my denominator, which is what i wanted...
