3. CT number calculation(15 marks)
Given the following estimated linear attenuation coefficient of blood at 80 keV, 100 keV, and 150 keV. (CT numbers are rounded to the nearest integer).
\begin{tabular}{|c|c|c|c|}
\hline
& 80 keV & 100 keV & 150 keV \\
\hline
$\mu_{water}$ & 0.1835 & 0.1707 & 0.1504 \\
\hline
$\mu_{blood}$ & 0.1905 & 0.1772 & 0.1561 \\
\hline
\end{tabular}
(i) Calculate the CT number of blood at 80 keV, 100 keV, and 150 keV.
(ii) Given the CT number of the liver ranges from 40 to 60 HU, what's the range of the linear attenuation coefficient of the liver at 80 keV? Justify your answer.
