Is there anything wrong if a supervisor introduces a mandated change with, i don't agree with this, but orders are orders.
00:07
And if so, what is wrong and why is it wrong? so, yes, there are things wrong with this statement.
00:16
While i understand why a supervisor might say that, because there are going to be mandates that are implemented that we have to follow, that we may not agree with.
00:26
However if you start off with that attitude and you are explaining this new mandate to your employees your staff and you preface the entire thing with i don't agree with this but it is what it is kind of attitude this is already creating a negative attitude among the other employees and also it's creating conflict between the employees and top management as a supervise you don't have to agree with every mandate that comes down.

But at the end of the day, it is what it is.
01:47
And it does not serve you any good to go in with this negative mindset and be like, i don't agree with this, but here's what we're going to do.
01:54
It's going to make it harder to implement.
01:56
It's going to make it more difficult and for employees to follow it...
