What contributions did Linnaeus and Darwin make to modern taxonomy?
Sri K.
The work of both Linnaeus and Buffon shaped our understanding of species. Linnaeus emphasized naming organisms and placing them into categories. Buffon did not agree with this attempt to impose order on nature, and was more interested in understanding behavior and relationships among species. Which approach makes more sense to you, and why?
