Clinical documentation is key to justifying reimbursement claims. For a disease or pathological state to be coded or billed, it must be documented in a medical record. "Not documented = not done." And for it to be documented, it needs to be diagnosed. Knowing this, why do you think this course, and all you have learned in it, is a prerequisite to subsequent coding courses? Why will staying up to date with new medications and treatments be so beneficial to future courses and your career?
