Okay, so you've got a question about plotting binomial probabilities and comparing them to normal distributions.
00:09
So i think you might be using some particular coding software here, but i don't know quite what it is.
00:15
So i've done it on mathematica, but if you want specific instructions for how to use the software that you're on, then please re -upode the question and specify what software you're using and stuff so that people can help you.
00:26
But i'm going to just do it with this so that you can see what the answer should be, and then hopefully you can figure it out on the software that you're doing it on, if that's what you need to do.
00:37
So we're just looking at plotting the pmf of the binomial random variable with the appropriate parameters when we're flipping a fair coin three times, five times and 20 times, and recording the number of heads.
00:48
So i've started with three times.
00:50
So the probability for getting eye heads is just given by three choose i, times 0 .5 to the i, that's how many heads we're getting, and then times 0 .5 to the 3 minus i, that's how many tails we're getting.
01:06
And so we can see that the probability of getting zero heads is 0 .125, the probability of getting one head is 0 .375, and so on and so on for i equal, for getting two heads and three heads similarly.

If we plot that distribution, we get this graph here...
