Question

Use the table below to fill in the missing values. [ egin{array}{|c|c|} hline x & f(x) \ hline 0 & 8 \ 1 & 5 \ 2 & 6 \ 3 & 9 \ 4 & 0 \ 5 & 2 \ 6 & 7 \ 7 & 1 \ 8 & 4 \ 9 & 3 \ hline end{array} ] Find the missing values: 1. ( f(4) = ) 2. If ( f(x) = 4 ) then ( x = ) 3. ( f^{-1}(0) = ) 4. If ( f^{-1}(x) = 8 ) then ( x = )

00:01 So, in the given question, we have been given a table and we are told to solve or write the answers to the question that is given to us under this table using by referring to this table, right? so what we could find in this table is the values of x and the corresponding values of a function in terms of x and the questions are as follows so the first question asks us what is f of six to find this we can just look at the value of x when it is equal to six f of x is equal to five so the answer is five next we are told if f of x is equal to n then what is x equal to so let's find a value of f of x where it is equal to n so this is the value and when f of x equal to n we can see that x is equal to three so this is the required answer next we are told to find the f inverse of 5 so what we could do now is to find the value of x uh find the value of x when f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f of x uh find the value of x of x when f of x is equal to 5.
01:33 So when f inverse of s x is what we are taking, when we take the value of x and find the corresponding value of f of x, we take let's say we take 0, f of x is equal to 1.
01:51 So when we are taking the inverse, what we do is we take 1, that is f of 1, f the value corresponding to x equal to 0.
02:02 So similarly f inverse of 5 would be the value corresponding to x equal to 6 which is the required answer.
02:12 Now we are told if f inverse of x is equal to 3 then what is x? so what we could say is that f of f inverse of x means f of x has a value of three right and no f of x has a value of three so when does f inverse of x have a value of three is what we are asked so when x has a value of nyan no not not nighan when x has a value of uh 5, f of x has a value of 3...
