Whne conducting a one-sample t-test for hypothesis testing, if the t-stat value that I calculated is greater than the critical t-value, which one is the correct conclusion?

Typically, H₀ states that the population mean is equal to a specified value, and H₁ states that it is not equal (two-tailed) or greater/less than that value (one-tailed). Show more…

If you found t(60) = 1.70, one tailed, what can we conclude about this results significance? The t obtained value exceeds the critical value at the p < 0.05 level but not the p < 0.01 level The t obtained value exceeds the critical value at the p < 0.05 level and the p < 0.01 level The t obtained value does not exceed either the critical value at the p < 0.05 level or the p < 0.01 level The t obtained value exceeds the critical value at the p < 0.01 level but not the p < 0.05 level Question 17 If you're doing an independent samples t test and your obtained t value is 7.14 and the critical value is 6.10, what decision should you make? Accept the null hypothesis Reject the null hypothesis Re-run the analysis Use a one-tailed test

The critical value of t = 2.306 The Calculated value of t = 0.28 Which t- is larger? Do not consider the + or = signs. If the critical value of t is smaller than the calculated value, you will DECIDE to reject the Null hypothesis and CONCLUDE that there is a difference between the means and the treatment made a difference. If the critical value of t is larger than the calculated value, you will DECIDE to accept the Null hypothesis and CONCLUDE that there is no difference between the means and the treatment did NOT make a difference. Make decision State conclusion

When performing a one-tail hypothesis test, a researcher found a critical value of - 1.796 and a t- test statistic of - 1.85 . What is the correct conclusion of this test?
