Write an argument with one conclusion that contains at least
three of the informal fallacies detailed in the 'Faulty Reasoning'
chapter of The Power of Critical Thinking. You can write the
argument either in a continuous prose style with paragraphs (like
the ones provided in the written assignments in the previous Faulty
Reasoning module), or as a more formally presented argument with
labelled premises and conclusion. The conclusion of the argument
you write must be one of the following statements: 'People from my
home town cannot be trusted' 'Eating an apple for breakfast
vaccinates you against most diseases' 'The Moon does not really
exist' 'Using long words when you speak means that you're very
intelligent' 2. Write a clear explanation of how each of the
informal fallacies you chose to write about appear in the argument
you created. Your explanation needs to show that you fully
understand what these fallacies are, how they are features of the
argument you made, and what is wrong with them.
