3. ROUGH DRAFT WRITER ROLE – this person receives the graph and copies and pastes it into a document (either Microsoft Word or Google Docs) and then writes a draft paragraph underneath the graph. The paragraph and graph must fit together on a single page (so adjust the graph size to make all this fit and include a header with a title and group # and all your names). The paragraph must include a brief description of the overall experiment (do not mention the other drug tested, only the one you were assigned), a statement of the hypothesis and key variables in the experiment, a brief description of the data, including referencing the figure and what it looks like (include "See Figure 1" in the text of the paragraph when discussing it), and 1-2 sentences drawing conclusions and what should be done next if one were to continue this area of study. 4. EDITOR/LEAD ROLE – this person leads the work by checking in with group members at least daily from first team meeting onward, then receives the rough draft from the previous student and edits and cleans up the format and any content; seeking feedback or clarification from group members if anything looks unexpected or is confusing. Submits final version into eCampus to serve as half of the group work grade for ALL members (go to LABS or Group page and click title of the Lab 5 Group Work assignment to upload and submit your group's PDF or Doc). No other members submit the final version – all will be graded from this submission. NOTE: You are welcome, if group members prefer, to work in pairs or as an entire team, but one person must officially be responsible for each task. For example, the DATA COLLECTOR and GRAPH MAKER can pair up so they do these two tasks together during a single virtual meeting, but the DATA COLLECTOR must be the primary person doing the data entry and the GRAPH MAKER must be the primary person creating the graph as they work together.
