Hello, so today i'm going to answer a question about the criticism of the aca program, an specific approach with the market -based solution.
00:11
So what was the aca? it was an artificial intervention in the sense that they impose regulation in order to increase quality and prices and regulated prices for this kind of service.
00:24
So why this is considered a not the best approach? because the market would be able in the long run to, scheme all the bad and low quality service via the price and also via the consumption.
00:37
So what do you imagine is that these kind of goods that are not very comparable or that are not at the competitive level of other health providers are going to be a scheme by the market, considering that they are other services that are cheaper and have higher quality.

This will just by itself allow to have a better outcome rather than regulating it, making that, for example, good players need to change or individuals that were willing to pay a higher price are not going to be able because there is a regulation.

And that is the answer...
