The least squares regression line for predicting the temperature from the chirp rate is y = 32.298 + 12.297x. If the two chirp rates differ by 1.5 chirps per second, by how much would the temperature differ?

Crickets make a chirping noise by sliding their wings rapidly over each other. Perhaps you have noticed that the number of chirps seems to increase with the temperature. The following data list the temperature (in degrees Fahrenheit) and the number of chirps per second for the striped ground cricket. Find the least square regression line for the data, treating temperature (x) as the explanatory variable and chirps (y) as the response variable. What is the slope and y-intercept? Interpret the slope and y-intercept, if appropriate.
