Q1 b) You are given a 1k? resistor, three capacitors (3.3 nF, 4 nF, 4.7 nF),and an unlimited supply of inductors. Design a bandpass filter that passes frequencies around f0 = 80 kHz. Show your calculations, draw the circuit clearly labelling all elements, and briefly explain why high and low frequencies are blocked by your filter. [5 marks]

The $R C$ low-pass filter shown in Figure 33.26 has a resistance $R=90.0 \Omega$ and a capacitance $C=8.00 \mathrm{nF}$ . Calculate the ratio $\left(\Delta V_{\text { out }} / \Delta V_{\text { in }}\right)$ for an input frequency of (a) 600 $\mathrm{Hz}$ and $(\mathrm{b}) 600 \mathrm{kHz}$ . You may use the result of Problem 52 .
(a) Design A First order Low-Pass Filter. It has a cut-off frequency at 10 kHz and Pass band gain is 4. Find the value of resistors R when value of capacitor C is 0.01 μF. If the frequency is 20 kHz, how much is the voltage gain and phase angle. Draw the circuit with the explanation. (b) Design a first order High-pass filter. It has cut-off frequency fₒ at 10 kHz, and Pass Band Gain is 4. Find the values of the resistors when the capacitance is 0.01 μF. If the frequency that we consider is 20 kHz, how much the voltage gain and phase angle. Draw the circuit with the explanation

a) Design a broadband Butterworth bandpass filter with a lower cutoff frequency of $1000 \mathrm{Hz}$ and an upper cutoff frequency of $8000 \mathrm{Hz}$. The passband gain of the filter is $10 \mathrm{dB}$. The gain should be down at least $20 \mathrm{dB}$ at $400 \mathrm{Hz}$ and $20 \mathrm{kHz}$. Use 50 nF capacitors in the high-pass circuit and $5 \mathrm{k} \Omega$ resistors in the low-pass circuit. b) Draw a circuit diagram of the filter and label all the components.
