At Numerade we never shy away from telling people how much we appreciate our teachers. At the end of the day, our mission wouldn’t be possible without the contributions of talented, passionate educators. We know the next school year is around the corner and teachers will likely have their hands full, so we wanted to offer a few ways Numerade can help lighten the load for educators everywhere.
Getting Started
The first step in incorporating Numerade into the classroom is to familiarize yourself with the platform. Spend some time exploring the site and getting to know its features and capabilities. Take advantage of the free trial to test out the platform and experiment with different features and tools.
Bootcamps
On Numerade we have a variety of 100% free online STEM bootcamps. Each bootcamp is designed by a current expert STEM educator and has specific courses with explainer-style videos leading the user through the subject. Our bootcamps would be a great way to help students engage with the material at their own pace. One way teachers could use these is to select a video and assign it to students to watch with a worksheet of related practice problems. This is ideal because if you feel your students need additional guidance on a subject or simply a different perspective, they can watch one of our videos at their pace.
Quizzes and Tests
Creating tests, quizzes, and other assignments usually takes up the majority of an teacher’s time. Fortunately, we just so happen to have a tool that will drastically decrease the amount of time creating problems. Our Quizzes feature is a powerful tool that can generate custom quizzes based on subject, length, and overall difficulty.
What can you do with these quizzes? Since they essentially come with their own answer guide after you finish the quiz you can create a quiz, copy the problems and use them for all sorts of applications in the classroom. They can be in-class worksheets or take-home assignments. Or you can just them as quizzes and tests, just as intended!
Ace
We’re pretty proud of our little fella, Ace. If you’re unfamiliar, allow us to introduce you! Ace is the world’s first AI tutor and he’s been with us for a while so we decided to take his skills to the next level. Exclusively on Numerade, users can now directly chat with Ace and receive in-depth explanations, step-by-step solutions, and common mistakes. How does this help educators? Well, Ace is basically a study partner, powered by our database of expert STEM educator-crafted content, that’s available 24/7. This means that even when your student is at home they can receive educator-grade instructional help whenever they need it. Definitely give it a shot and see what you think!
On top of that, Ace can also craft individualized study plans tailored to the student’s needs. This means that while students are studying on Numerade, they’re also receiving study help that targets potential areas of struggle.
