Go to the HUD Web site and take the survey at htrp//www. huduscr.org/publicationshagfin/FuirlisngSurvey.html. A representative sample of adults took the survey in $2000-2001$ and in 2005, and results did not improve over the time period, with average Americans failing to recognize two out of eight scenarios as violations of the antidiscrimination law. While more people supported the fair housing law in 2005 than in the earlier year, still one-quarter of respondents are unsympathetic to the law.
