Some people believe that alcohol or drug abuse is a crime best left to the criminal justice system. Others believe that addiction is a moral failing and thus should be cured by the family and the church. Others assert that it is a problem that should be dealt with by the medical establishment and the social service networks. What do you think of each of these positions?
