Normal, Binomial, and Geometric Models

The focus of this course is to explain the concepts of Normal, Binomial, and Geometric Models. The focus of this course relates to the Probability Distributions for Random Variables, Normal Probability Distribution, and Binomial Probability Distribution. It further describes the Standard Normal Random Variable, Calculating Probabilities for a General Normal Random Variable, Percentiles, and Normal Approximation to the Binomial Probability Distribution. The course concludes by explaining the concept of Binomial Probability Distribution, Using Tables of Binomial Probabilities, and Expected Value and Variance for the Binomial Distribution. The course also includes a brief discussion of Geometric models with the introduction of Geometric random variables. It provides the concept of Mean and Variance for the Geometric Distribution.
