Ben N.

Cornell University

PhD candidate, physics, Cornell University

My research is in the behavior of systems that can be modeled as networks; most of the work I do is exploring the properties of firing patterns in networks of neurons in the brain.

My favorite topic in undergraduate physics is waves and oscillations in all their various forms. Other interests include electronics and mechanical systems (e.g. clocks, machine tools, musical instruments, cars).
