Mrs. Tumminello started teaching Chemistry at Calhoun High School in September of 1999. She graduated from The University of Scranton with a dual major in Biology & Philosophy and completed her Masters Degree in Secondary Education at Dowling College. While at Scranton, she was a member of the Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program (SJLA) and she competed on the Varsity Swim Team. During her time at Dowling, she participated in The South Shore Estuary Reserve as a graduate assistant in the Chemistry Department. In 2015, Mrs. Tumminello was honored as a recipient of the Calhoun Blue and Gray Award at Calhoun High School.
