Biography

Stephanie is a fourth-year graduate student at Vanderbilt University. Before attending graduate school, Stephanie received her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Central Florida. As an undergrad, Stephanie had the opportunity to be involved in research working in a laser and materials at UCF, biochemistry at UC-Boulder, and nanomaterials lab at Vanderbilt. Her interest in research led her to pursue graduate school where she had the chance to continue working in a nanomaterials lab to one day work in a Research & Development Lab for NASA, EPA, or in the private sector. After earning her M.S. in Chemistry in 2017, Stephanie decided to change paths to education and communication and is now in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in Science Communication.
