Execu ve summary: Medica on prices in America are at dangerous levels due to una ainability from vulnerable popula ons. Insulin prices have increased 1000% since 1ffff and there have been people who have died due to their inability to pay the soaring prices of this necessary medica on. There is a monopoly on insulin and federal rules and regula on protect and prevent free market compe on to decrease drug prices for those that need these medica ons. The me to act is now and it falls to those in posi ons of power to push legisla on through to those who can make the necessary changes that will bene t vulnerable popula ons in the United States of America
