Module Eight Question 1
a. Who is the audience of this presentation? How do you know? b. Why does Claudia think the audience should care? c. What parts of the presentation are impactful? In other words, what parts of the presentation would really convince the audience that they should care?
A. The audience of this presentation is anyone working within the prison system. She is talking to those who work within the prison system to convince them to focus more on rehabilitation and providing inmates with better programs.?
B. Claudia thinks the audience should care because providing inmates with better programs such as an arts program will help in rehabilitating inmates. In turn, this will reduce recidivism rates. In the long term, it will help save everyone money by rehabilitating inmates.?
C. The part of the presentation that is most impactful is when she describes her cousin being incarcerated. She describes his personal experience with the arts program and how it allowed him t express his feelings and creativity. He has since been released and has not reoffended since because of this program.?
Module Eight Question 2
Identify places in Claudia's script that you think should be accompanied by visuals. For each place you identify, indicate what kind of information you think she should include on the slide. For example, you may think personal images are appropriate in some places, or that graphs or charts representing data may be helpful in others.
I believe that Claudia should use some graphs to show the statistics of inmates who reoffend. Graphs give great visualizations of numbers for people to see. I think the other place should be when she starts talking about her cousin. She should show a before and after picture of her cousin to put a face to a name and really sway the vote in her favor.?
Module Eight Question 3
Choose the remaining 3-5 places in the script where you will incorporate visuals. Briefly note where you will include these visuals, and describe what will appear on the slide.
I plan to incorporate visuals on almost every slide. These visuals will range from graphs to show statistics of how each stress-reducing activity helps to pictures of individuals meditating or exercising. The visual will be on the slide as well as a few brief facts about the visual. The speaker notes will include further detail about the slide.?

Complete the checklist after practicing your presentation. Identify at least three adjustments that you will make to improve the presentation based on this critical evaluation.
1. I will make sure I cite all of my sources correctly both in the speaker notes as well as on the reference page. I will also check one more time to ensure that all of my sources are credible.? 2. I will make sure my point isn't overshadowed by too many statistics. I feel that I may have used too many statistics which could overshadow the point I am trying to
