Cynthia Ramirez Business 206 Project 2 Professor Ana Laura-Diaz February 7th, 2024 The WH Process of Ethical Decision Making Clare should use the WH framework in her company, it is a useful set of ethical guidelines to help her make better decisions keeping the impact of the business, it's employees and her consumers top of mind. A question that business owners should always ask themselves when making decisions is, "Whom would this decision affect?" Clare maybe never thought the breach would happen to her, without any process in place her team didn't react quickly to follow specific guidelines and report any breach to her directly. Using the WH process will help her communicate ethics and values with her team, set some laws down and really focus on the longevity results unethical work can cause for the business. The WH process of ethical decision-making is: 1. W-Who (stakeholders): Consumers, owners or investors, management, employees, community, and future generations. 2. H-How (Guidelines): Public disclosure, universalization, golden rule The stakeholders of a firm are the many groups of people affected by the firm's decision (Kubasek, et al.,2023). Once Clare has these guidelines set in her WH process, there should be
better communication, more clarity around the responsibilities of each employee, risk protection and she can protect the stakeholders and her and her team will know how! Resources: https://learning.mheducation.com/static/awd/index.html? t=1707714565337#/
